Reviews and Ratings
Had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were beautifully designed and comfortable but a bit noisy. They were kept very clean but smaller than expected for a king bed. The service was attentive and left a thoughtful note for us but could have been more visible as we spent most of our time by the pool. The location was perfect for exploring downtown and convenient for dining options. However, there was some noise from ongoing renovations outside our window. The dining was hit or miss, with some excellent dishes like the biscuits with gravy but also some letdowns like hard potatoes. Overall, a stay with its ups and downs.
Staying in the half-basement room, I found it a bit dusty and cold, smaller than expected, but it managed to keep a comfortable temperature. The service was truly kind and accommodating, especially at the pool where we enjoyed privacy and excellent attention. The location was ideal for exploring downtown attractions and dining out. The breakfast was decent, although some selections like the hard potatoes were a letdown. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a mix of pros and cons.
I felt like I was transported back in time with the elegant and sophisticated feel of the rooms, although they could get a little warm. The service was awesome, especially at the rooftop area, though a fan would have been nice. The downtown location was perfect for strolls to nearby businesses and dining spots, offering a great experience. The dining was a bit hit and miss with some dishes being exceptional and others needing improvement.
